This is the best shichimi (seven spices) with a rich aroma of sansho (Japanese pepper), which is made from seven ingredients that have almost disappeared: domestic chili pepper, Asakura powdered sansho, organic black sesame, yuzu, Kochi string green laver, and organic golden sesame, all ground using a millstone process that has been used since 1902.
